Working Principle of Magnetic Latching Relay

  Magnetic latching relay is rapidly developed in recent years, a new type of relay is also a kind of automatic switch and other electromagnetic latching relay. The circuit is automatically switched on and cutting off. The difference is that the Magnetic latching relay normally closed or normally open state is completely dependent on the role of permanent magnets, the switch state transformation is to rely on a certain width of the pulse signal is triggered.


Magnetic latching relays are divided into single/ dual/ three ways control. Magnetic latching relay its contact open state maintained by the magnetic force produced by permanent magnets at ordinary times. When the relay contacts need to open or close state, only need to use DC pulse voltage (DE) to excitate coil, relay is done in a flash drive on state transition. Usually contacts are in a state of latching, coil does not need to power on, magnetic force of permanent magnet alone would maintain the state of the relay.
