Speaking of current transformers, we believe that everyone knows it. Current transformers are a good helper for measuring circuit current. Current transformers generally refer to current sampling components. According to the principle of electromagnetics, the current is passed through the center of the transformer. However, a magnetic field will be generated around the core of the transformer, thereby generating current in a certain number of turns of the coil, and the analog-to-digital converter and other chips connected to the outside of the transformer will calculate the current value through the transformer. Current transformers are widely used in various complex installation environments to measure or monitor electrical energy.
It is worth noting that there are many forms of shape design of current transformers. The most common shape of current transformers is often a round shape, and one end of the wire is connected to an analog-to-digital converter and other chips to measure current. The shape of the center hole rubber ring is often designed to be circular in order to adapt to the circuit that needs to detect current. The diameter of the line determines the diameter of the rubber ring in the center hole. Different countries and different customers have different requirements. For the open core current transformer, just like the name, the feature of the open core transformer is that the current transformer can be directly installed on the wire through the buckle, and the measurement can be carried out without destroying the wire. This installation method is quick and convenient, also greatly saves the cost of manpower and material resources, and increases the safety in the measurement process.
For PCB current transformers, PCB current transformers are easy to install, simple to use, and can make the installation firmer! It is worth mentioning that it currently performs very well in new energy charger! Which is also preferred by engineer during the PCBA design.
