MD0630T41A is a high-sensitivity leakage current protective device, also called a residual current sensor, residual current monitor(RCM), residual current device(RCD), differential current sensor, and leakage current sensor. The RCD module is ideally suited for use with Electric Vehicle charging cables (Mode 2 Protection) and EV charging stations (Mode 3 Protection). Residual current detection options for IEC-based requirements are both 30mA AC or 6mA DC, and are 20mA AC & 5mA DC.
To satisfy new standards include IEC 62955, IEC 62752, IEC 61851-1, and UL 2231-1, etc, the charging of electric vehicles requires leakage current sensors to avoid hazardous situations in cases where the vehicle battery(DC) is connected to the home power supply(AC). AS a Type B RCD/RCM, MD0630T41A has numerous applications and is suitable for many industries include EV charging stations, PV systems (solar panels), industrial equipment, medical devices, DC panels, fire distribution cabinet and any installation where there is a risk of AC/DC fault current flowing. It is the technology that brings us closest to total protection for all known residual fault currents.
